Angela Yee Day was an amazing event that I can honestly say I enjoyed. There were so many dope performances at this event from both mainstream and underground artists. Gyptian, Maino, Chronic Law, Cheem, Tifa, Th3rd, and Stephanie Saint-Come all did an incredible job on stage. DJ Norie also kept the crowd moving with the lovely Caribbean music he played all afternoon. School supplies were given to the children along with free haircuts and braids. Each kid was able to leave this event in style for their first day back to school. 

Angela Yee did it big this year at the Barclays Center for her community. US Virgin Island Department of Tourism, Bask & Lather Co, United States Army, Metro Plus Health, Planet Brooklyn, and Chef Kiz all helped make this event possible by sponsoring it. This was definitely a moment to remember as they set to kick off the Caribbean Celebration right before Labor Day.
