Hip Hop wouldn’t be what it is today without the legendary icon Peter Gunz. For years he has used his voice to uplift the people in his community and all across the globe. A lot of you may know him for his hit song Deja Vu (Uptown Baby) ft. Lord Tariq. This record definitely had people turning up at house parties and in the clubs in the late 90’s. He received a plaque for the record after it went platinum and from there history was made.

Success didn’t stop there for the hip hop veteran. Peter Gunz also got a lot of recognition for playing different instruments like the Piano, Guitar, and the Drums. He also received a leading role on Love & Hip Hop New York as well. This helped him to build more connections in the industry, gain new fans, and prepare the world for new music he will soon be releasing. 

Right now Peter Gunz is working on a new project called “The Diary of Billy” that is set to drop on January 6, 2026. This album is dedicated to his uncle who created a legacy for his family. He was a rockstar who made his dreams a reality and wasn’t afraid to live in his truth. Peter Gunz plans to keep the legacy alive by living in his power and delivering great music we can all enjoy.
