Maino, who is a Hip Hop Icon from Bedstuy Brooklyn definitely did it big for his community on Sunday. He put together an exclusive block party for Maino Day that turned out to be beyond amazing. There were so many vendors giving away gifts to all the children and adults. Everyone on the block got the opportunity to receive free food and drinks. The DJ kept everyone in good spirits and all the artists who were booked to perform put on a phenomenal show. I really enjoyed providing media coverage for this event.

Metro Plus Health, Save Our Streets, Walmart, Brooklyn Gives, Waffle Chic all sponsored the event. GBNY made sure all the kids got new sneakers for this upcoming school year. Jim Jones, Fabolous, Angela Yee, and Neek Bucks all came out to support Maino. We most definitely got to give it up to Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso for officially stamping this day for Maino. If you wasn’t able to attend the block party this time around, make sure you are there next year, because the marathon is set to continue.
