Oso Chopp is a rising national recording artist hailing from Lakewood, New Jersey. For years he’s been working to put his city on the map. His unique style and clever witty rap songs helped him to accumulate a supportive fan base. His music is definitely fire and I honestly have to say he’s in a class of his own. I don’t know anybody that Oso Chopp sounds like and that’s great, cause most artist today follow what is trending instead of being original. 

I became a fan of his music since I ran across his mixtape Lethal Start Volume 1. On this project he brings that Jersey Club sound to life, making people want to turn up on the dance floor. Osochopp dropped “Rap Intention” soon after and that had the people going crazy in the Tri-State area. That is one of my favorite records from him. Oso Chopp hit single “Recipe” blew through the roof, catching the eyes and ears of big time news reporters. Asbury Press did a story in their Newspaper about his record and video. This helped him land the opportunity to perform at American Dream Mall in 2023, which turned out to be a great success. Shortly after that he was booked by James Hogan, who is the CEO of Ponytail Promotions, to perform at a Big Boxing Event in Baltimore Maryland, which left the fans speechless wanting to hear and see more from this creative star. 

Things ain’t stop here for the Hip Hop artist. Oso Chopp dropped “Kicked In” right after. This single alone receive over 10,000 Shazam’s in less than one month. This definitely made promoters want to book him for more shows and journalist from different media outlets wanting to do a live exclusive interview with him. B-More Ben along with other DJ’s in Baltimore has been playing his songs in the clubs down there. Oso Chopp records has also been played on major radio stations in Baltimore thanks to James Hogan, who is the hottest boxing promoter from B-More.

2026 has been a phenomenal year for this amazing artist. He started off the year dropping a brand new single titled “Snap Back” that got the streets going crazy and music executives wanting to do some business with him. Recently Osochopp got the opportunity to perform at Finnigans in Lakewood New Jersey. He had the best performance that night. JR from Worldstar definitely took notice after his energetic performance. He’s also performed at DJ Kay Slay 5th Annual Tribute on August 15th in Harlem. You guys already know he’s going to tear down the stage in Baltimore on September 26th at the next boxing event once again.
